CCAAWPS (Council of Concerned Albertans for Animal Welfare and Public Safety) is concerned with the state of animal welfare legislation in Alberta and Canada. We highlight examples of animal neglect and lobby our governments for standards that better the lives of our animal friends.
CCAAWPS began as a campaign to close Guzoo Animal Farm, a roadside zoo outside of Calgary in Three Hills Alberta, which has been in repeated violations of zoo and animal welfare standards over the years. Please check out the campaign.
